For all these achievements, StarStudio Magazine named Coco one of its “surprise stars” of 2009. But his success is no surprise.

He started as one of the most idolized teens in the reality tv show, Pinoy Big Brother. Whatever it is, they keep on coming back for more of Gerald.

And we came to see Chris Tiu play, up close and personal. He is such a refreshing sight to behold in the court and outside, a warm and friendly person, always smiling, the goodness in his heart apparent, a reliable player that he has anchored his team to win so many games in the UAAP. During Ateneo games, and he is not on the court, me and my kids feel like saying, “I can’t smile without TIU.”

Pascual got his start on German Moreno’s That's Entertainment. It was there that a staff member saw a potential star in Piolo. He was asked to audition and later got a call back to be part of the show. After a year, he went on to audition for more shows like ATBP and Star Circle 2, both of ABS-CBN.
